In addition to standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, Outback Wilderness features adventure-ready upgrades like a 2.4-liter turbocharged Subaru BOXER® engine (that delivers 277 lb.-ft. of torque & 3,500 lbs. of towing capacity) & Yokohama GEOLANDAR® all-terrain tires. In addition, you’ll find an elevated 9.5” ground clearance with front skid plate as well as an anti-glare hood design.
The drivetrain & gearing ratios have also been re-tuned for improved low-speed climbing. Your Outback Wilderness should be able to handle up to a 40% grade.
Not only can the Outback Wilderness master any terrain, its upgraded, dual-function X-MODE has settings for deep snow, sand and mud that provide the right amount of additional wheel slip to power through adverse conditions.
