Candy Cane Lane Comes To Flagstaff Subaru

Sharing the love this holiday season

This year, Flagstaff Subaru was "Sharing the Love" as we partnered with the Shadows Foundation and Hallows Team at Wallick & Volk Mortgage to put on this year's Holiday Candy Cane Lane at our dealership.

It all happened on Saturday, December 5th, kicking off at 6 pm. Turnout was so great this year, that we extended the event an extra hour, finally wrapping up at 10 pm that night!

This COVID-19-safe event provided visitors the opportunity to enjoy dazzling holiday luminescent exhibits, decorated trees & giant candy canes all from the warmth of their car and drive through our incredible Tunnel of Dancing Lights, synchronized to their favorite holiday music!

What A Visit To Candy Cane Lane Meant

Spectators were greeted by local law enforcement agencies and received Candy Cane Lane ballots, so they could vote on their favorite exhibit. We're still waiting to hear who won. We haven't made it through the forms yet. Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus with their elves gave out over 500 goodie bags.

Children were encouraged to bring their letters to Santa for his elves to collect.

We hid a giant Coca-Cola Bear in one of the Subaru cars on the lot and the kids had to look for him when they drove through. Then, they wrote their number and name of the bear-friendly car on their ballot to tell us if they found him!

Plus, Everyone Lent A Helping Hand To Those In Need

In support of the Shadows Foundation, visitors donated $10 each for car passes! We received 896 pre-orders with 1,005 vehicles participating throughout the evening. That meant nearly 5,000 people took part in this year’s event, helping the Shadows Foundation raise over $9,000. These donations will help the foundation provide much-needed support this month to our area families in need.

The Shadows Foundation is strictly volunteer. They have no paid staff and never have. This is important because it means these volunteers are truly all about giving, which is everything Subaru stands for. They "Share the Love" because Subaru Shares the Love with us all. ❤

We also collected over 1,000 toys for the "Northern Arizona Law Enforcement Toy Drive," so no child goes without this holiday season! Due to concerns about COVID, Shadows was unable to hold its annual "Shop with a Cop," which typically brings in over $5,000 in toys every Christmas for children in need. So, the Flagstaff Police Department expresses their gratitude to everyone who participated in our Toy Dive this year.

Happy Holidays To You From Flagstaff Subaru

There was a lot of hard work that went into preparing this event. We extend our deepest thanks and warmest holiday wishes to about 25 amazing individuals including some youngsters, who helped make the season brighter for our community.

Everyone at Flagstaff Subaru urges you to Share the Love this Christmas and every day in the coming New Year!
