Join Us For A Special Celebration

We only have one Earth; Join us to take care of it

Flagstaff Subaru would like you to be our guest at the Grand Canyon for the 49th anniversary celebration of Earth Day.

A day to celebrate our planet was first proposed at a UNESCO conference in San Francisco in 1969. A few weeks later, U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson introduced a bill that would become Earth Day. The first one was held on April 22, 1970.

And now, Subaru USA and Flagstaff Subaru proudly invite you to this year’s celebration, which will take place Saturday, April 20, starting at 9 a.m. at the South Rim Village of the Grand Canyon. We’ll meet at the Grand Canyon Visitor Center Plaza near Mathor Point. We have activities planned from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There will be displays featuring current park conservation initiatives, such as water conservation, waste disposal, recycling, composting, dark skies, smart transportation and biofuels.

Flagstaff Subaru will have on hand the 2019 Subaru Outback and the all-new 3-row Subaru Ascent.

Come discover these 2 amazing vehicles and join us as we celebrate Mother Earth.
